Story:

Venkata Ratnam is the biggest rowdy in Vijayawada. He is feared by all and respected out of that. Radha (Sandeep), a small time rowdy, joins in Venkata Ratnam gang and he rises quickly and is bad mouthed by Venkata Ratnam’s personal goons.

An incident makes Radha furious over Venkata Ratnam and murders the latter brutally. This marks the rise of Radha as a huge force in Vijayawada, which makes other political parties plan and murder Ranga, leaving Vangaveeti Radha as the only successor. What is the journey of Radha and how he is assassinated forms the rest of Vangaveeti movie.

Analysis:

The detailing of the brutal murders and the way they are sketched looks impressive. Not taking any sides, RGV intelligently blends the screenplay where it would be convincing even to the critics and also interesting to the audience.

Assassination of Devineni Murali and the interval bang are the key highlights of Vangaveeti movie. But the violence in the film is of the next level, which would be tough to watch for certain sections of the audience. The casting is super perfect and every role looks so natural.

Performance:

Sandeep Kumar as Vangaveeti Ranga and Radha came out with some tremendous performance. His body language and the way he adopted Vangaveeti into him is very convincing. No one would probably replace him in his character. Even the entire casting is very convincing that it makes audience only to concentrate on the proceedings and nothing else.

The visuals of Vangaveeti are on the top notch. The rustic locales of Vijayawada and the drone camera angles are captured perfectly. Production values are impressive and art department deserves a special mention. Editing is ok and dialogues are apt to the situations in the screenplay.

Proving that he is the master of filming biopics, RGV once again came up with a promising film. His extraordinary screenplay, especially in the murder scenes deserves a loud applause.

Finally:

RGV is back. People who loved him for Satya, Company, Rangeela etc, will again love him for Vangaveeti too.
