Telangana American Telugu Association (T.A.T.A) a non-profit social and cultural organization from Greater Philadelphia region in USA organized cultural event on the occasion of Dusshera and made a very noble effort to celebrate and sustain our culture which can be passed along to future generations.
This event was organized in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Around 800 people from Pennsylvania and other states like Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Texas, Washington, Georgia, South Carolina and Massachusetts attended the event and made it highly successful.
There were around 100 participants performing various cultural programs which included dance performances and singing songs.
Attending the event was Pennsylvania House of Representative Warren Kampf as the Chief Guest and Phoenixville Mayor Peter J. Urscheler as the Guest of Honor. T.A.T.A Advisory Council Chair & Chairman Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy and T.A.T.A Advisory Council Co-Chair & President Dr. Haranath Policherla were among those who attended the event.
Advisory Council members Mohan Patalolla, Vijaypal Reddy accompanied by T.A.T.A General Secretary Vikram Jangam, T.A.T.A Executive Vice President Bharath Madadi, T.A.T.A Joint-Treasurer Jyothi Reddy and other senior leaders within T.A.T.A and different nationals and local organizations also attended the event.
On this occasion Chief Guest, Warren Kampf and Guest of Honor Peter J. Urscheler addressed the attendees and wished them a Happy Dusshera. They mentioned how Indian Community is growing in their jurisdiction.
Following their address, T.A.T.A Chairman Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy conveyed his Dusshera wishes and congratulated the Greater Philadelphia core team for a successful event.
T.A.T.A President Dr. Haranath Policherla addressed the attendees, conveyed Dusshera wishes and mentioned how T.A.T.A is organizing Bathukamma & Dusshera celebrations across different states in America.
He also congratulated the Greater Philadelphia core team for organizing such a successful event. In addition to cultural performances, people had great time and enjoyed delicious South Indian dinner.
The Greater Philadelphia T.A.T.A core team members which included Board of Director Suresh Venkannagari, Media Chair Vamshi Gullapalli, Regional Vice Presidents Prasad Kunarapu, Ramana Kotha, Bhaskar Pinna, Venu Enugula and Regional Coordinators Praneeth Reddy, Sheshi Kasira, Amar Vemula, Kiran Guduru, Janardhan Baddam, Satish Sunkanapalli, Rajesh Aleti, Swamy Bodige, Venu Bathini, Suman Mudumba, Smitha Peddireddy and Shiva Reddy participated actively in this event and received numerous appreciations from the attendees for organizing such a successful event.
