Rating: 1.75/5

Story:

Naveen Chandra falls in love with Shruti, a rich girl. But her father (Murali Sharma) does not approve their love and insults Naveen. Angered over this, Naveen lands into an argument with Shruti’s father, saying that, one needs happiness in life and that cannot come from the money.

Murali Sharma then decides to experience the true happiness without money. For this, he approaches a movie producer (Posani) and decides to make a flop film, so that he can lose all his money at once and get back on top once again, after working hard. So he chooses Prithvi as his movie hero. What kind of consequences Murali faced with a funny character like Prithvi and what did he realize at last? Watch the film to know the answers.

Analysis:

The first half an hour is so boring, that you choose to skip it off. The proceedings are dragged too long to enter into the main story. After Prithvi’s entry, things start getting better. Especially, 20 minutes before the interval is quite entertaining.

But even his role is stretched to an extent that it damages the film completely. Naveen Chandra and Shruthi Sodhi’s romantic track is utterly irritating and spoils the mood of the audience even more.

Performance:

Prithvi’s performance is the only saving element of “Meelo Evaru Koteeshwarudu”. He produces some quality laughs in a few scenes. Sruthi Sodhi and Saloni are ok with their acting skills and Naveen Chandra is decent.

There are not many songs in the film, which can be considered as a boon to the audience and the background score is just ok. The dialogues are very good and so are the production values. Editing is average. Director Satti Babu centered Prithvi to do some spoof comedy. But he dragged it too far and filled the entire film with the same comedy, which could irritate the audience.

Finally:

Meelo Evaru Koteswarudu may go well to some extent in the B and C centres, who can tackle over the top comedy. Others can give it a skip.
