Rating: 2/5

Story:

Vicky (Sumanth), a careless youth, on the suggestion of Dr. Anjaneyulu (Tanikella Bharani), turns sperm donor for easy money. He even falls in love with Ashima (Pallavai Subhash) and marries her.

Did Vicky continue to be a sperm donor, even after marriage? What are the situations he faced through Ashima regarding his profession? The answers for these questions forms the crux of Naruda Donoruda movie.

Analysis:

Even though the story is proven in Bollywood, it could not entertain Telugu audience, for the poor narration. Vicky Donor clicked well only because of the perfect screenplay. The way emotions are carried impressed many. But the same is disappointing in the Telugu version. Adding to it, the heroine character which has enough importance to perform, was spoiled in Naruda Donoruda, with the weak performance of Pallavi Subhash. Adding to it, her character was rushed quickly.

The comedy scenes between Sumanth and Tanikhella Bharani are shot well. The first half of the film is okay with some good scenes. But the one biggest drawback of the film is its very loud. Adding to it, the second half of the film is completely rushed as the emotions do not hit you at all until the climax.

Performance:

Sumanth is decent with his performance and has given his best in the film. Thanikhella Bharani is the major highlight of the film. Not inspiring from the original character in Hindi, he gave his acting touch to the role. All his dialogues and mannerisms go well with the audience.

All the songs are disappointing and even the background score is not up to the mark. Editing is just okay. Production values are good. Dialogues, especially the one liners are impressive. Director Mallik Ram has done a below average job with the film. Even after having a proven script in the hand, he spoiled with his poor narration skills.

Finally:

Naruda Donoruda is strictly for adults, that too if they did not watch the original.
