Rating: 3.25/5

Story:

Sirish (Allu Sirish)’s brother loves and marries a middle class girl against his father (Prakash Raj)’s wish. In this situation, Sirish loves another middle class girl Anu (Lavanya). Upset over this, Prakash Raj asks his son to get back from the relationship.

Sirish then challenges to win his love without using his family name. But meanwhile, Anu’s father (Rao Ramesh) finalizes his daughter’s marriage with other person. How Sirish finally managed to convince both side parents and won back his love forms the rest of Srirastu Subhamastu.

Analysis:

Right from the title announcement there was a feel good nature on the film and that has continued even while watching the film in the theatre. Though the story is predictable, the way every scene is narrated will attract the audience big time. Along with romance and comedy, the film even has family emotions which will go well with the family audience.

The climax is good, but it seems, the proceedings have rushed towards it in hurry. A talented actor like Prakash Raj has nothing much to do in the film, except for the climax and Sumalatha gets a small role. While the first half is youth oriented, second half has good family emotions.

Performance:

Sirish, compared to all his earlier films, has given out his best performance now. Right from his looks, body language and everything is attractive. Lavanya Tripathi adds glamor to the screen. Her homely and emotional character goes well with both youth and family audience. Rao Ramesh is great as doting father and his chemistry with Lavanya is adorable. Ali and Subba Raju carry the fun part of the film very well.

Music is pleasing and elevates the family smell in the movie well. Editing is great, as most of the scenes are clearly chopped off at right time, without dragging the point too much. Dialogues are good and also the art direction is fine. Production values are on the top notch. Director Parasuram deserves a loud applause, as though the story is predictable, the way he executed it on the screen is very attractive.

Finally:

Srirastu Subhamastu, a feel good movie goes well with both family and youth audience.
