Analysis

The complete first half is hilarious with several interesting proceedings like the comedy, realistic scenes. Most of the scenes appear so convincing to the present day couples and so will go well with the youth audience. Maruthi’s trademark double meaning dialogues will work out well, especially in the ‘C’ centres.

Coming to the second half, it falls flat right from the beginning and the proceedings further too takes a severe dip, making one stick to the seats and take a nap for a while. As the entire story is revealed in the first half itself, the makers had nothing much to reveal in the second half. Adding to it, the story appears rushing to the climax, which finally ends, lacking clarity.

Performance

Parvatheesham scores big for his hilarious performance in the first half. The way his character was built and the way he managed to get into it, attracts the audience, big time and even Chetan does his job well.

Tejaswini is perfect to the character she was chosen and she does a decent job. Krutika looks beautiful and comes out well in the emotional scenes. She had a complex role which she portrayed with a lot of ease.

JB’s music is good and even BGMs go well with the narration. Production values are good and dialogues stand out, making the present day youth connect well with it. Maruthi’s screenplay is outstanding with several hilarious episodes in the first half, but it is the second half, he could not manage well, especially the climax.

Director Murali, has executed the film quite well and has managed to maintain the fun and suspense element throughout. But the second half should be blamed big time.

Finally

You would probably think, how it would be, if you bargain the ticket price with the ticket vendor, saying that, you would watch only the first half, as only that is deserved to.
