KCR’s whopping donations to Tirumala

Telangana Chief Minister KCR, who said that he would visit Tirumala as a thanksgiving gesture for the formation of the Telangana state, is all set to fulfill his promise and present gold ornaments worth Rs 5 crore to lord Venkateshwara.
Reportedly, KCR is planning to visit the temple on 31st of this month. He would present a Saligrama Haram and Kante (carcanet) on the said occasion.
It is known that, Nizamabad MP Kavitha raised her voice in support of special status for AP. In this regard, at the point of time where special status movement is at its peaks, KCR’s visit to AP is expected to make an impact of the movement, the analysts opine.
