Analysis:

The one distinct feature in Abhinetri is the narration. It is fairly simple which what made to have no huge sound effects or visuals, unlike other thrillers. The makers balanced both horror and comedy to some extent.

Neither too many laughs nor chills, Abhinetri which makes it out of horror comedy genre. After the Ruby’s character is revealed at the end of the first half, the horror angle is completely pushed to the off track.

Performance:

Prabhudeva as a helpless husband gives an entertaining performance. His dances, especially in the Chill Maar song are outstanding. Tamanna does full justice to her role. Saptagiri plays out his comic act well as Prabhu’s friend and he gets the maximum laughs from the audience.

The choreography for the songs is good, but as the songs are dubbed from Hindi, they do not sound good. The production values are good. Editing is ok and so are the dialogues. AL Vijay showcased some average direction skills. There is much more to be done to call Abhinetri a Horror-comedy film.

Finally:

Abhinetri is a one time watch for its simple narration with not many glitches.
