Story:

Surya (Ram)'s immense love for his dad (Satyaraj), always puts him in trouble. One day, his father refuses to sign an illegal file, brought by a minister (Rao Ramesh). Angered over this, the minister targets Surya's family. The rest of the story is how, Surya saved his dad from the minister.

Analysis:

The entire first half is narrated in an utmost entertaining way, with loads of comedy. Revealing a main point through a twist is very good. Things get bogged down in the second half. Rao Ramesh's character is slightly over the top and appears funny. Not even a single thrilling point in the second half and most of the proceedings appear quite predictable.

The love track between Ram and Rashee Khanna has no significance. In fact, Rashee is only used for songs and has nothing much to do in the film. Hyper has a good social message, which is well balanced with the entertainment.

Performance:

Ram is energetic. Most of the scenes appear tailor made for the young hero. His combination with Rao Ramesh goes well with the masses. Rashee as said is only used as a glamor doll. Rao Ramesh once again came up with some promising performance.

Ghibran's music is just ok and so the background music by Manisharma. Editing is below average, as there are several scenes, even a song in the first half that can be trimmed, to make the film appear better. Cameraman deserves a huge thumbs up for showcasing Vizag in an adorable way.

After a flop like Rabhasa, director Santhosh Srinivas this time has come back with a promising film. His narration levels are attractive. If he had worked a bit better in the second half, the result would have been better.

Finally:

Ignoring the predictable story line and slight glitches, Hyper goes well with the masses.
