Rating: 0.5/5

Story:

Amar (Ritesih) decides to sell his bungalow, for which Prem (Aftab) and Meet (Vivek) comes in support. The trio moves to Doodhwadi, a village, where old women talk in innuendos and ghost (Urvashi Rautela) look forward to have fun with the youngsters. Did the three youths fall prey for the ghost and how did it change their lives, forms the Great Grand Masti’s crux.

Analysis:

While the earlier two parts Masti and great Masti has shown the leads as the sex starved, this time, the makers had concentrated on the female lead, showing her as Bhoothni and is willing to have all the three youths on her bed. But even that point is not handled properly.

When it is said to be sex comedy, there is hardly any erotic scenes and adding to it, the makers who narrated the scenes, thinking that they would chuckle the audience, will actually go butt of the jokes. The poor story and the even more poor execution, makes Great Grand Masti, to be used as the project work of the young film makers, as to how not to make a film.

Performance:

There are hardly any scenes, to identify the acting skills of the trio male leads in the film. The three youths are handed out to such deathless lines as: “baahar ki biryani aur ghar ki daal bhi nahin milti.” Rautela as Bhoothni is the real non-comedy comical piece of the film. The trials she did to flaunt the audience with the weight on her chest, would hardly attract anyone.

Several scenes needs to be repaired, which can even be felt by a normal audience. Songs are ok and the background score is good. Production values are decent enough. Several faults can be found in the direction. There is clumsy in parts, especially in the second half, several scenes are half dealt and without proper explanation, the next scene takes on the screen, which is what irritates the viewers.

Finally:

Go and watch the film and do not forget to test your BP, every 5 minutes.
