The Andhra Pradesh government finally, responded to what Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan demanded about kidney patients in Uddanam area in Srikakulam.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who was silent for Pawan’s allegations about other issues like demonetization, special status, etc, could not maintain the same silence about Uddanam issue, as it's linked to the public’s health.

Kidney patients in Uddanam area would be treated as physically challenged and they would be given lifetime pensions, Naidu’s government announced today.

Adding to it, he also instructed the Medical and Health department as well as Panchayat Raj department to take up the issue on war-footing and work on the remedial measures.

He also assured to do the intensive research on the disease and find out a permanent solution to the crisis. “I have asked the scientists to discuss such issues on international forums like Indian Science Congress and come out with a solution,” he said.

Several times in the recent past, Pawan Kalyan went against AP government, though he did not utter Naidu’s name. Even a few of the TDP leaders indirectly tried to go against Pawan. But Naidu made sure that, his relation with the actor turned politician does not ugly. That could be the reason for his response to Uddanam issue.

On the other side, Pawan, several times mentioned that he would contest in the next elections. Naidu is probably expecting Pawan to club Janasena with TDP in the next elections and is so unable to go against the young politician, the analysts opine.
