All the opposition political parties in Telangana, are reportedly planning to form grand alliance, only to defeat the super powerful KCR, in the 2019 elections.

After the formation of Telangana, TRS emerged as a new force, in the state. Several political leaders from other parties jumped into the leading party and this further worsened the condition of other parties and strengthened TRS.

At this point of time, if a single party moves against KCR's government, it is almost out of question to survive safe. So, the grand alliance is being considered as the only right solution. Congress, TDP and left parties and social organizations hastened deliberations toward constituting an alliance.

It is to be noted that recently, when JAC Chief Kodandaram conducted deeksha against land acquisition act, the support extended by all the opposition parties, is the best example to say that, all the anti-KCR forces are going to join hands soon.

Neither Jagan, nor Chandrababu Naidu would be able to make any impact in Telangana, despite their years of political experience. That is the impact KCR created after the state bifurcation. But it is to be noted that, Kodandaram several times went against KCR. So the JAC Chief is now being considered to lead the grand alliance.

Regarding this, Telangana PCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy and TDP working President Revanth Reddy already requested Kodandaram, to prepare a plan of action to fight against KCR and his dispensation, the reports say.

During YS Rajashekar Reddy's reign, the grand alliance formed by the opposition parties like TDP, TRS and others, could not stop YSR's victory. So it should be seen, how far the about to be formed grand alliance makes an impact.
