Heroes who are on high in 2015, got down to low in 2016 and vice versa. Here is the quick analysis of the notable heroes, whose fate changed in this year.

Starting with the star heroes Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu, both the stars, who secured decent hits in 2015 with Gopala Gopala and Brahmotsavam respectively, had to face 2016 with the disasters like Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Brahmotsavam.

On the other side, Jr NTR, who was eager to get a huge hit, made it with Janatha Garage. After Simhadri, it is this film, which was hugely appreciated by the Nandamuri fans.

Ram Charan, who had flops like Govindhudu Andarivadele, Bruce Lee etc in 2015, ended 2016 with a class hit like Dhruva. He ignored C centres and collections and picked up a stylish film like Dhruva, which was appreciated well by the audience.

Energetic star Ram, who almost lost his form with back to back debacles, got a decent success with Nenu Sailaja in the beginning of the year. Same with Nithin, after picking up A..Aa, under Trivikram's direction.

Senior hero Nagarjuna, whose films never witnessed any sound of collections, entered Rs. 50 crore club, with his romantic entertainer Soggade Chinna Nayana. After a series of flops in the earlier years, Manchu Vishnu bagged a good success with a comedy entertainer "Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam".

Keeping his debut Rey aside, mega hero Sai Dharam Tej got his career's first biggest flop through Thikka. Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, after three continuous flops in the form of Autonagar surya, Oka Laila Kosam, Dochey etc, came up with a proven script Premam and got a good hit. Kalyan Ram after a debacle like Sher, opted Puri Jagannath and got a moderate  success in the form of Ism.

Correcting the mistakes done in 2016, the new year is lined up for some enthusiastic and long awaited projects, including Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna's landmark films Khaidi No 150 and Gauthamiputra Sathakarni. So it should be seen, how far 2017 would be in favor of Tollywood.
