Virat Kohli named captain, Yuvraj Singh back

Two days after Mahendra Singh Dhoni stepped down from captaincy, Virat Kohli is named as the new captain of India’s limited overs teams. The selection committee, in a meeting today, made this announcement.

On the other hand, Yuvraj Singh, who was last seen in the ICC World T20, in 2016, is back again for the ODI and T20I series. Dhoni, who said that, he would be available for selection, has been included in both teams. 

Young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant, who began his Ranji Trophy career after impressing in the Indian U-19 team, earned a maiden T20 International call-up. Even left-arm pacer Ashish Nehra, made into T20I squad. 

Star off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who had injury concerns after the five-Test series against England, was named in both the ODI and T20I series.
