Time for KCR's biopic
Yes, it’s true, very soon, Telugu audience is going to witness political journey, struggle for Telangana, personal life and many more interesting things about our beloved Telangana Chief Minister KCR through his biopic.
When a biopic on Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Mary Kom was possible in Hindi, why not on KCR, the Telugu filmmakers felt, and within no time, an approach was made in this regard to the Telangana CMO, who okayed the request. While the news is exciting TRS party workers, activists and his followers, it is worrying the opposition party- Congress.
One cannot deny the fact that, even Congress has a big share in Telangana achievement. Just 3-4 months before the 2014 elections, Congress party has announced the Telangana, with the intention of grabbing the attention of Telanganites. But to the shock of life to the party, the entire credit was stolen by KCR, who is since then been the supreme ruler in the state, with no competition. However, KCR even has his own important role in struggling for a separate state.
Earlier, when the Telangana state formation chapter was decided to include in the school syllabus, a few of the Congress party leaders fought with TRS leaders, to include Congress party’s role. But TRS strictly denied to include. Now cinema being the powerful medium in the present days, through KCR’s biopic, achievement of Telangana credit will be tightly injected into the people’s hearts and would make KCR a lifetime hero, the analysts opine.
Madhura Sreedhar who handled the soft films like Sneha Geetham, Oka Manasu etc, will be directing KCR’s biopic. Including the state formation day as the sentiment, on June 2nd 2016, the shooting of the film would begin and film would be hitting the screens on February 17th 2018, which is even the birthday of KCR.
