Hyderabad Rains: Why no support from Chennai?
Several biggies from the Telugu states went forward in support of Chennai, when the city faced floods recently. But when it’s time for the similar situation in Hyderabad, why is no one coming forward from Tamilnadu?
Stars like Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR etc went in support donating huge amounts of money to the flood victims. Adding to it, Manchu Lakshmi along with few other cinema biggies, even collected funds to donate Chennai flood victims. The support Telugus gave to Tamilians during Chennai floods is inevitable.
Most of the popular Telugu stars were born and brought up in Chennai, before Tollywood got shifted to Hyderabad. So the affection they had on Chennai, made them move forward to rescue the city. But sadly, as there is no such reason for Tamilians, they are staying away from offering their support to Hyderabad.
However, during Hudhud cyclone in Andhra Pradesh, a few of the Tamil stars did not mind to donate money.
Just as Telugu stars acquiring craze in Kollywood, even there are several stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Vikram, Karthi, Vishal etc, who is doing big in Telugu. So it would be better if even Kollywood stars come forward to offer their support for Hyderabad rain victims. Otherwise, it would be tough to run their films here, the analysts opine.
