Reason behind landing yesteryear heroines into big films!

A day after Ramya Krishnan was confirmed to play a key role in Robo 2.0, the news of Vijaya Shanthi’s comeback that too in Chiranjeevi’s 150th film has been out. Why the super stars like Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi are backing their yesteryear heroines, who are their hit pairs?

There are few combinations, in the film industry, which can create eye brow raise attention anytime, they meet. That is the impact the combination can create, even though the film has not much to say. 

Taking Ramya Krishnan-Rajinikanth combination, though the duo are not seen romancing each other in Narasimha movie, it is the counters the duo give to each other in the film, that attracted the fans big time. It is not an exaggeration if one could say, Neelambari, till date, is the best narrated female character in the Indian films. 

Same with Vijayashanthi in Gang Leader movie. Though she romances with Chiranjeevi, it is the naughty kind of scenes and the way they counter on one another, that was liked by Telugu audience and considered Vijayashanthi as the all time best lady to stand beside Mega star. Due to the conflicts between the duo in the politics, no one has ever felt that, their combination would be possible again. But shocking the mega fans, VV Vinayak has landed the yesteryear powerful heroine into Chiru 150 movie.

On one side, Robo 2.0 being the costliest movie of the country, is being treated as the prestigious one and even being the landmark (150) and that too comeback film of Chiranjeevi, the project has acquired huge curiosity. Adding to such hype, landing the yesteryear heroines in both big movies, is expected to give good break to both the films and also the heroines, making them busy with big films again, the analysts opine. 

2017 is going to witness the position of both the heroines, as both Robo 2.0 and Kathilantodu (tentative title) is scheduled for release in the same year. If the combination works out well, then several other yesteryear heroines are expected to come on to the screen, to do special roles in the big hero films.
