Jio 4G feature phone bookings start from Thursday
Reliance Jio today announced that bookings for its 4G feature phone will commence from Thursday all over India. These phones can be booked either on-line or in the Reliance stores from tomorrow. These can be booked even through My Jio Mobile app or in www.jio.com website. Apart from these, Jio is planning to open 50 lakh booking counters across the country particularly for this purpose. As usually, Aadhar Card is mandatory for booking these phones. Delivery of these 4G feature phones will start from September 1st as promised earlier. Those who booked these phones have to pay Rs.1, 500 security deposit at the time of delivery and it will be refunded to them after 36 months.
Many people have been anxiously waiting for these 4G feature phones as they are also offering all the unlimited services and packages at as low tariff as Rs.149 for 28 days. Therefore, 2G customers of all other networks may jump for this 4G feature phones with which Jio competitors may lose their very basic business.
