H1B visas are no longer a showstopper- Nasscom

Nasscom has finally dispelled fears about the possible damaging prospects of the new US immigration bill which proposes to restrict issuance of H1B visas to Indian companies.
Speaking on the issue, Nasscom chairman CP Gurnani said, “Such visas will not be any showstopper in this era of technology. The companies and the US Senate can be at odds with each other. The US corporations realise that 70 per cent of their work were being outsourced from outside.”
Opining that visa costs are increasing, Gurnani said that, Nasscom would appeal to the US administration implying that, business would prevail as usual.
