Censor suggestions for Udta Punjab
Basing on the drug addicts of Punjab state, Udta Punjab was made and so was rejected to get censor and thought that the film would be banned completely. But, now, after the vigorous fight of the makers, it seems that, it may hit the theaters with few compromises.
Firstly, not hitting directly to Punjab, the censor officials suggested the makers to opt a fictional place and also edit several scenes, which are relating to Punjab directly. If that is done, the crux of the film would be gone, the makers say.
This argument is currently going on with the makers and censor officials and where it would end up and hits the theaters on the scheduled release date June 17th is a question.
