Mahaan Karz titled, the film is based on Easter and it explains the importance of the sacrifices made by the Lord Jesus Christ. The movie itself doesn’t tell the story of Jesus directly but through a metaphor.

The young Shah Rukh Khan is seen as a 'Kunwar' who seeks employment. at the castle of a great Maharaja. The king, impressed by his wit and charm, agrees to keep him as his treasurer. What follows next is captured in the short film below.
