Dishoom movie team, in a novel promotional bid, rescued Ringing Bells Pvt Ltd CEO Mohit Goel who was earlier "kidnapped" in Noida, picking him up from the Ringing Bells office and taking him in a helicopter to a stadium in Noida where he was released. 

Movie's male leads Varun Dhawan and John Abraham were involved in a cricket match held between Ringing Bells and Dishoom. The 10-over match was won by the Dishoom team which lifted the Ringing Bells Dishoom Cup. 

"It was a perfect platform to get associated with the team of 'Dishoom'. We created the promotion on the storyline of 'Dishoom' where India's top batsman goes missing in the Middle East and two police officers save him after a massive manhunt," Goel said. 

Jacqueline Fernandez is the female lead in the film, that is gearing up for the release on July 29th. It is known that, Ringing Bells had earlier announced to sell smartphone called Freedom 251 for just Rs. 251 and thus made a sensation.
