On June 6th, Manish Bhangale, a Vadodara hacker's petition will take its hearing in Bombay high court, which was filed against Eknath Khadse, Maharashtra Revenue Minister, over his alleged links with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
Bhangale alleged that, Dawood's call records from Karachi records proved that he was in contact with a mobile number registered in Khadse's name.
Responding to it, Congress leader, Sandeep Dikshit said, “The inquiry must be conducted. We don't know whether the claims are right or wrong. But whenever there is something connected with Dawood, I think it should be deeply inquired.” Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) demands Khadse's resignation, to ensure a thorough investigation.
"He is lying and he should resign, we have got telephone bills that show Khadse's number was still working a month back," said AAP leader Preeti Sharma Menon.
However, the Maharashtra Revenue Minister dismissed the claim as 'baseless', but admitted that the number belonged to him.
