Ram Kumar, the prime accused in Chennai techie’s Swathi murder has allegedly committed suicide this morning. Angered over this, Ram Kumar’s father Paramashivam has decided to file a petition. Regarding this, the High Court has ordered the police to stay away from Ram Kumar's postmortem till the court takes a next move. 

Ram Kumar allegedly killed Swathi in Nungambakkam railway station in Chennai. Police who chased the mystery behind the murder through the CCTV cameras, has arrested Ram. During the arrest itself, Ram attempted suicide slicing his throat. But after the proper treatment he was shifted to central jail.    

According to the police reports, vexed with the hide and seek with the law, Ram Kumar committed suicide holding electrical wires in the prison. But Paramasivam alleged that, police murdered his son to divert the case and so has demanded the CBI inquiry on the issue and also postmortem in the presence of the medical committee.
