Ram Kumar, the culprit who was caught, came to the conscious stage and as per the reports, opened up on the reason behind killing Swathi, the Infosys employee.
Tirunelveli resident Ram Kumar and Chennai’s resident Swathi met on Facebook. Upon getting attracted to the way Swathi spoke, Ram Kumar fell in love with the girl and went to Chennai and started living near to her house. Even after expressing his love several times, the girl rejected and allegedly even abused him about his features.
Went furious over this, Ram Kumar few times handled the girl wrongly. Surprisingly, Swathi did not open up about this with any of her friends or family. This boosted the male youth, who then took a knife and sliced her throat, without allegedly intending to do it in the beginning.
While the officials who went to a confused state as to why the girl did not report about the guy to anyone, Siddhik, one of Swathi’s friends has said that, the girl is independent and make decisions on her own. May be, that is the reason, even she did not reveal about Ram Kumar to anyone.
Whatever be the case, this type of sudden demise of a young girl, is turning as a huge weight to her family members. If the culprit uses the loopholes in the law and comes out, then the women in the country would feel in secured to come out of the house and this would further boost others to attempt such crimes. So instead of delaying the case, it would be better, if the right justice is implemented soon.
