Lightning kills 56 people in Bihar
In Bihar, around 56 people, among whom most of them are farm labourers, have lost their lives for the lightning.
During the lashing of the thunderstorms and monsoon rains, at least 24 others were injured. Vyasji, the disaster management official, said that even a lot of cattle were also damaged due to the horrifying lightning.
The death toll may further rise as the reports from the remote districts of the state, are yet to come, said Vyasji. The country’s monsoon season (June to September) is taking away lives every year, but this time, unfortunately the death toll is very high.
