Senior Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor, shocked the industry, saying that, he bought Filmfare award in 1974. He revealed this shocking news during the launch of his autobiographical book, 'Khullam Khulla'.

Rishi Kapoor who made his debut as lead actor with his father Raj Kapoor's directorial Bobby in 1973, received the Filmfare award the very next year. Its about this award, Kapoor revealed now. Rishi further added that, he later felt ashamed of buying the award and never again resorted to such act.

What ever be the case, Rishi Kapoor revealed the dark side of Bollywood. If Rs. 30000 is the cost of Filmfare in 70s, imagine what would be the cost now? And how many artists are able to receive awards genuinely?
