Yes, it’s a prequel to Baahubali: The Beginning, but not in the form of a film, but a book.

This book will be released as three parts and the first part titled as “The Rise of Sivagami” is scheduled for the release on the 20th of this month. 

Popular writer Anand Neelakantan is authoring the book “Baahubali, Before the Beginning”. The teaser poster of it has been released today. 

The book will initially have its release in English and later, it will be translated into Telugu and several other regional languages, keeping in mind the craze of the magnum opus irrespective of the language.

As Baahubali story has many corners to explore, it seems, the director Rajamouli is not willing to end it with just 2 parts. But he still cannot ask Prabhas to dedicate time for another part, as the young rebel star already gave his sweet time, keeping away other movies. 

So, Rajamouli is now planning to showcase Baahubali, in other forms like books, animation movies etc. As the story is linked with the two movie parts, the equal craze is expected, even for any kind of Baahubali art forms.
