While Prabhas dedicated his full time to Baahubali series, Rana, who was also part of the film, managed to do a number of films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi as well. His latest movie after Bahubali-The conclusion, is Ghazi a bilingual, made in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously and is gearing up for release on February 17th.
The story of this film is about search operations for the drowned Pakistani sub-marine “PNS Ghazi” during India-Pakistan war in 1971. Hence, the film would be a nice blending of some historical events with the underwater adventurous story. Major part of the film is reportedly filmed inside a prototype submarine in the studio. So, it would be a different experience for the audience.
Rana acted as a naval officer in this movie and Tapsee played the female lead in it. Kay Kay Menon, Satyadev, Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Singh, Ramanuja Dubey and Om Puri have played key roles in this movie.
Debutante Sanklap Reddy is directing the film, made out of the story ‘Blue Fish’ written by himself. Currently, post-production works are in full swing and the makers are expecting Censor clearance shortly. The film is jointly produced under PVP Cinema and Matinee Entertainment banners.
Apart from this film Ghazi, Rana is also part of two more films simultaneously. One in Telugu titled as ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri” under Teja’s direction and the other is a Tamil film titled “Madai Thiranthu.”
