Its just an year, Nenu Sailaja is out in the theaters. Keerthi Suresh is yet to be seen opposite huge stars. Even before stepping into such big movies, she had now bagged an offer to play yesteryear heroine Savithri’s role.

She is opted to play the female lead in Savithri’s biopic. Movie’s producer Ashwani Dutt announced the news, expecting that it would bring back him into the form again. Nag Ashwin who earlier handled Yevade Subramanyam is directing this biopic.

 Earlier, Nitya Menon, Samantha and few other star heroines were considered for the flick. But as all such heroines even played glamor roles, the makers felt that it would disturb the image of Savithri. As Keerthi is seen in a neat, decent role in Nenu Sailaja, she had been picked for the role. If this movie works out well, it should be seen whether  Keerthi sticks only to female centric movies.
