Kamal Haasan's background work for his dream project
Marudhanayagam, a periodic drama film, which was launched in 1997 by Queen Elizabeth II, was shelved later due to the non availability of the funds. But Kamal, who considers the film as a prestigious one, is keen to bring it back onto the sets.
Regarding this, he met Lyca productions recently and discussed the script. A confirmation from the production house is awaiting. If things fall into the place, it would be a big news for the Universal star fans.
Kamal is currently busy with Sabhash Naidu, an action comedy flick. After wrapping up this, he would move on to his dream project, which is being planned in Tamil, French and also English languages. Marudhanayagam is based on the life of Mohammad Yusuf Khan, an 18th century warrior who revolted against the British.
