After the stupendous success of Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan was no more offered the roles of the heroine, who is just used for the songs and glamorous scenes.

Vidya continued to do female centric films after Dirty Picture and its Kahaani that brought her a good image in Bollywood. The low budget film managed to collect Rs. 75 crores, in those days. This made the makers concentrate on the sequel of the film. 

Titled Kahaani 2, the movie trailer has been released now. The trailer starts with showing Vidya speaking over the phone and then rushing on the road where she meets with an accident and is admitted in the hospital. Police investigations, Vidya's flash back is what forms the rest of the trailer. 

Even the second part's trailer is intriguing, making one anticipate that Kahaani 2 is all set for another success. Arjun Rampal is playing a prominent role in the film. On December 2nd, 2016, the Sujoy Ghosh's directorial will be hitting the screens worldwide.
