No one expected that Dabangg remake in Telugu would score a huge success like Gabbar Singh. Adding to it, Shruti Haasan, the iron leg lady before Pawan Kalyan's film, later became busy with several big movies in Tollywood and Kollywood.

Shruti's last outing was Premam, which is being received well, with thundering collections. Before Premam release, Shruti was severely criticized for her expressions in 'Evare' song. But much to the surprise of many, even Kamal's kutty turned out to be one of the reasons behind Premam's success. Shruti currently has Pawan Kalyan's Katamarayudu in hand, which is again a remake of Veeram, a super hit film in Tamil.  

When asked about choosing back to back remakes, Shruti said, "Somehow I have become a remake rani. But as long as things are working for me, it is all good. As said earlier, I approach every role as a new one and bring in my style."
