The success rate of Tollywood has seen a hike for the past 3 years, just because, the filmmakers understood the significance of mutual understanding.

For instance, Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu was supposed to have dates clash with Baahubali. But the makers of both the films felt that it would be showing the negative impact on both the films. So Srimanthudu was postponed and thus both the films turned out to be blockbusters.

Several big films in the recent times, followed the same rule and got benefited. But the senior heroes- Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, are taking risks and is aiming at releasing their films for Sankranthi. While Gauthamiputra Sathakarni is releasing on January 12th, Khaidi No 150 is coming on 13th.

Both films are the much needed hits for Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna as they are the landmark (100th and 150th) projects of the heroes. Unless any one hero compromises and moves out of Sankranthi race, it would really be tough for their films.
