While the Bollywood is busy in making the biopics of the popular personalities in the sports, cinema and other fields, even Tollywood is now planning to walk in the similar direction. It is known that, Yevade Subramanyam director Nag Ashwin has aimed at filming the biopic of the popular yesteryear heroine Savithri. 

He even conducted an online campaign for this, and finally opted an experienced heroine itself, unwilling to take the risks with the new one. Reportedly, Nitya Menen has been confirmed to play the lead in the film. However, the official confirmation regarding the same is expected to be out shortly. 

Savithri is known for her homely looks and decent performance, while Nitya Menen though has good looks, she even performed glamor roles and was popular for her hot expressions. Then, how she manages to come down with a low profile and homely performance like Savithri is a question now.
