There are two ways to publicize a product, either positive or negative. Negative in the sense, including a controversial element or making it controversy purposefully. Director Ram Gopal Varma does the second.

The super talented director, right from the beginning, follows the same formula and got enough mileage, by throwing most of his films on controversy. Now, the film maker who is filming Jaya Karnataka Association Chief and Ex-Don, Muthappa Rai's real life story, with the title 'Rai', has received court notices from Yousuf Bacha Khan.

Bacha Khan is currently at Dharwada jail in Karnataka on the allegations of land grabbing. He has issued a notice to Varma, saying that, the director is filming his character in the movie in a negative way. However notices like this, are not new to the controversial king and so mostly, he would be expecting that this issue would be adding to the publicity of his film.
