Telangana 2nd rank in Business-friendly initiatives
Centre’s preliminary rankings for adopting business-friendly initiatives has took a surprising turn, with Telangana state occupying the 2nd position and Andhra Pradesh, in the 19th position, unlike 13th and 2nd positions respectively, in the previous year.
The states however will have time till tomorrow, as the final ranking would be announced with the help of World Bank in July. The current ranks are released by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) on business reforms and action plans.
With the intention of improving the business environment in the country, the Centre started this practice of ranking the states from the last year, based on the business-friendly initiatives last year.
