NABARD keen to provide loans to Mission Bhageeratha
NABARD has come forward to offer loans to one of the prestigious programmes of the Telangana government, 'Mission Bhageeratha', aiming to provide tap water to every house in the state.
Panchayithi raj Special Chief Secretary, SP Singh, has discussed about the loans to be provided for the future years, along with the current year. The works which started, related to the project, in several places of Medak district like Gajwel, Narsapur, Sangareddy and Narayankhed, were appreciated by the NABARD officials, saying that, they are keen on providing more loans to Mission Bhageeratha project.
Not just for the tap water, NABARD even came forward to provide loans for the intra-villages. As of now, for the year 2016-17, NABARD provided Rs. 2200 crores to support the government project.
