With the them of ‘Technologies for a Secure and Connected world’, Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Design Conference, a forum for researchers and designers to present and discuss various aspects of VLSI design, EDA, embedded systems, and enabling technologies,  will be held here from January 7th to 11th next year.

The programme highlights cloud computing and IoE (Internet of Things) and discusses about the strategies needed to create an ecosystem to make Hyderabad the centre for VLSID. Over the strong contenders like Bengaluru, the officials opted Hyderabad as the venue.
 
Explaining about this, G.Satheesh Reddy, scientific advisor to the defence minister, said, “Funding technological development for public and private organizations is one of the major concerns of the government. If academic institutions are empowered, the country will flourish.”
