The Telangana lawyers today has boycotted the operations of all the small courts in Hyderabad and the analysts say, likely the boycott may be extended to High Court by the next week.
This boycott has took its light, for the fear of Andhra people being appointed as the judges in the 8 vacancies of High Court and also in the 140 vacancies of judges in the Telangana district courts.
As the Telugu states are divided into two states, all the Andhrites should have their separate High Court, the Telangana lawyers said, demanding to fill all the Hyderabad High Court vacancies with the Telangana judges only.
The Telangana lawyers held a joint meeting of the Bar Association of the High Court, State Advocates JAC, Telangana State Judicial Employees Association, Telangana Judges Association and Telangana Law Officers Association at the Hyderabad City Civil Court on Sunday where they decided to launch a `Chalo Hyderabad' on June 13th.
