Telangana CM KCR holds a review meeting with concerned officials at Pragathi Bhavan today on Mission Bhageeratha Project work progress. He told them that his government started this prestigious project with Rs.43, 000 crores investment, which is first of its kind in the country. He reminded them about his pledge not to ask for votes, if his government fails to complete this mission and provide pure drinking water to every household in the state before next elections. 

Hence, CM KCR said that it is a life and death issue for his party. He asked the officials to make sure that work progress of this project goes as per schedule without fail.

He also set a deadline to his oficials to complete the construction and commissioning works of in-take wells and water treatment plants etc. before this December. He asked to them ensure water supply from the next year. He warned that he will not tolerate any negligence in these works.
