Non-bailable arrest warrant to AP Minister
Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Human Resources Minister of AP Government quite often catches the media attention for wrong reasons. He was served non-bailable arrest warrant by a court in Anakapalli on Wednesday. He was served warrant in connection to a case that way backs to 2009 elections. He allegedly distributed large number of cricket kits to youth during the 2009 elections, when elections code of conduct was in effect. Later, a case was filed against him in Anakapalli Court. He ignored the court notices asking him to attend the trail of that case. Hence, the court lost its patience and served non-bailable arrest warrant against him on Wednesday. He is not available for comments on this development.
