Telangana Today- KCR’s English newspaper soon
Two years after the formation of the separate state, the Telangana government is now planning for the English newspaper titled “Telangana Today”.
‘Telangana publications’ is the company in which the Chief Minister KCR, has an investment over Rs. 4 crores (as disclosed in a 2014 affidavit). The company’s first launch was a Telugu daily called Namasthe Telangana, which took rise during the Telangana movement. KCR even had interests in the Telangana publications, who launched a channel called T-news.
Srinivas Reddy, who earlier worked as the managing editor of ‘The Hindu’, would be working as the editor for Telangana Today.
