Telangana formation day witnesses Rs. 1.8 crore worth flag
Telangana Chief Minister KCR earlier has said that the state formation day will be celebrated, after hoisting the country’s tallest national flag.
Reportedly, the cost of that flag is Rs. 1.8 crore, which is now going viral, among the political circles.
While the government is treating the hoisting such tall flag as the prestige question, the analysts are opining that it might face hurdles from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), as such tall flags are expected to disturb the movement of air traffic and hence the delay.
If at all, AAI approves the flag, then the 303 feet (92.35 metros) polyester made national flag, will be hoisted at the Sanjeevaiah Park.
