It is known that, just after few months of the TRS government in the Telangana state, Chief Minister KCR, has took a unique decision called intensive Household Survey, which was speculated to be impossible in the beginning.
Just in a span of few hours in a single day, August 19th, 2014, the government could collect the complete data of the citizens. Four lakh employees of the government took part in the initiative, and reached out to over 1.09 crore households.
KCR’s intention behind conducting this survey was to know, who is actually eligible to get the benefits from the government schemes and thus make sure no such schemes would be allotted to the ineligible people.
After completing 1.5 years of the initiative, it has now fetched a place in the prestigious Limca book of records, for accomplishing such a huge task successfully. Most of the Telanganites believe that, no one could have made it possible, if not KCR.
After several achievements of the dynamic CM, this can be considered as another major credit to the list.
