Telangana Haritha Mitra Awards
Telangana state government has introduced ‘Telangana Haritha Mitra Awards’ and has decided to present the awards, dividing into three categories, namely individuals, institutions/organizations and local bodies. Each category consists of the sub-categories.
In such every sub-category, one award will be presented at the state and district levels.
Individuals will get Rs. 1 lakh cash award and other categories cash awards will go for Rs. 2 lakh. This is to recognize their efforts in increasing the green cover in the state.
The Afforestation Fund, according to the orders, will meet the expenditure and on June 2 nd, on the occasion of the Telangana state formation day, the awards will be presented on a grand scale.
