90 percent voting has been recorded in the Paleru Assembly constituency by-election. With the least concern of the Summer heat, the voters turned out in the large numbers to the 234 polling booths. 

Earlier, in 2014 elections, the Paleru segment witnessed 91.46% polling and the Congress candidate Ramreddy Venkat Reddy was the winning candidate. But his sudden demise has now led to the by-poll in Paleru. 

Ramreddy's wife Sucharitha Reddy is contesting in the place of her husband, expecting that, his craze would help her in winning the election.

But on the other side, Telangana IT minister, who is happy about the percentage of voting, expressed his confidence about the victory of the TRS candidate Thummala Nageshwara Rao, alleging that, the exit polls have already predicted TRS victory in Paleru.

However, unless, the counting which is scheduled to begin on May 19th, no predictions would give the true results.
