Give up Gudumba, get Benefits!
Aiming at making Telangana Gudamba free, the state government would provide employment to those, who give up brewing of illicit liquor in the State, Minister for Excise and Prohibition T Padma Rao said.
Speaking to the media, the Minister said 98% of illicit liquor brewing had stopped with the help of the department. He assured to provide Rs. 5 lakhs to each family and also livelihood, after budget session.
Revealing about the permanent buildings for the department, the Minister said only 12 stations were having the own buildings out of 138 exercise stations and the rest were being operated in rented buildings. Soon, this issue would be discussed with the CM KCR.
