Syed Isaq, a 60 year old drain cleaner in Karnataka is running a public library in his hut, putting his wealthy fellow neighbors, to complete shame. Isaq earns few hundreds of rupees and dedicates most of his earnings to maintain the free public library, which has been serving around 10000 houses nearby. 

Apart from the drain cleaning works, Isaq also takes up a few of the construction works. Though he is uneducated, his immense love on education, made him set up the library in his hut, at Albadar Circle in Mysuru's Rajiv Nagar. 

The library stocks several Kannada books, along with 17 newspapers in many languages. Adding to it, the readers who visit the library in between 6 am and 7 am are also treated with tea. Reportedly, it costs around Rs. 500 per month for Isaq, to maintain the library. For his concern towards the mankind, he was also honored by the local minority recently.
