In an attempt to reach the public in the best way possible, the Hyderabad City Police now is all over the social media- Twitter and Facebook. Literally all the station house officers, including Traffic wing and even SHE teams are now active with their official Facebook and Twitter handles.

Keeping in mind, the difficulty public might face in finding out their required station, among the number of stations, the officials said that, when the Twitter user types @SHO in the search box, a few of the results would be displayed in the drop down, thereby allowing the users to pick their option from the list. Coming to Facebook, the users will be able to find their required station, when they type PS in the search box, followed by police station name. For eg: PS Panjagutta

If all this procedure appears tough to follow, then one could directly post their tweets to the main handle called @hydcitypolice, which is very active with an instant response.
